Hoşbeş H5 Robot
ETİ Hoşbeş's mascot became a real robot.
ETİ · MAY 2025
Brief
ETİ had developed a mascot robot concept called H5 for their Hoşbeş wafer brand, playing on the brand name "Hoşbeş." Creative agency Muhabbet had prepared the character design and commercial script.
Now this digital character needed to become a real, physical robot — managed on TV commercial sets and programmed for subsequent use at events. Not just a prop, but a functional robot that talks, dances, displays facial expressions on its screen, and behaves differently in every scene.
“When a digital character becomes a real robot, the brand steps off the screen and into the real world.”
Insight
In advertising, mascots are usually CGI or costumed actors. But using a real robot creates a completely different dynamic on set — the actors' interactions feel genuine, their reactions are real.
H5 physically existing meant the brand would gain not just an ad character, but a permanent mascot for events too. Beyond the commercial series, it would become a physical extension of the brand experience.
The Idea
We took Muhabbet's concept designs and turned them into a manufacturable engineering design. The robot was built using multiple production techniques: 3D printing, custom part fabrication, painting and assembly. Then it was programmed scene by scene.
We managed the robot on set during commercial shoots. After filming, we expanded its movement and speech repertoire so ETİ could use it at events.
Engineering Design
Starting from the agency's concept sketches, we designed the robot's internal mechanics, joint points and range of motion.
3D Printing & Custom Fabrication
The robot's body was produced with 3D printing, custom-molded parts and professional painting. Every detail camera-ready quality.
Robotic Programming
Speech, dance, facial expressions and scene-specific movements were programmed. On-screen expressions custom-designed for the H5 character.
On-Set & Event Management
We managed the robot on set during shoots. Post-filming, we expanded its repertoire for event use.
Execution
When Muhabbet's concept designs reached us, we planned every stage of bringing a digital character into the physical world.

Results
- H5 became ETİ Hoşbeş's permanent mascot — not a one-off prop, but the face of the brand
- TV commercial series produced — the robot appeared in multiple commercials
- Active use at events — after filming, ETİ continued using the robot at brand events
- Real robot impact — using a real robot instead of CGI or costumes created a distinct effect both on set and with audiences
